The fallen leaves of the Sycamore,
the shrill call of the Hawk,
the rasp of the cicada,
and the bare, chewed stems of sweet potato vines
greet me
as I return.
Welcome Home.

Who or what chewed the leaves off the potato vines?

We have a big fat groundhog who lives under the deck of our house. He must have gotten brave enough to go out on the back deck when we and our dog were gone for a while!
