They are the ones who waste their time cutting the grass,
instead of letting it grow to feed the animals.
They are the ones who rake the leaves when they fall from the trees,
instead of leaving them to fertilize the earth for the next spring’s growth.
They even have special people who make them pay money,
if they don’t do this just like the rest of the people in their villages.
They try to bend nature to their will
instead of blending their will with that of nature.
Why do they waste their time doing these strange things?
They are the crazy* ones.

*I remember reading about American Indians commenting on the strange things they observed at first contact. Sometimes perspective is just a matter of culture.
