I thought I missed the time of year
when droves of Dutch appear
to flaunt their frilly breeches.
But one cold rainy day
turned them out my way.

Red Lake is ahead of Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin? We saw our first wildflowers of the year this morning. A flower of a poem.
I like all of it, esp the wording of the last line. Nice rhythm and images in the first stanza, R.
